Hi! I’m Michelle - the hands behind MYRE STUDIO.
What started as a curious attempt to try something new turned into a deep love for creating with my hands. Originally an escape from the daily stressors of life, pottery has easily become something I spend most of my time doing.
By carefully navigating each step, there is something amazing about turning a lump of clay into something beautiful.
This hobby has taught me so much since I began in 2024. Because no two pieces come out exactly the same, I’ve learned to let go of trying to force the clay to become what I want it to be and to enjoy the process instead. Similar to life, many unexpected curveballs are thrown at us, but with every choice we make, we shape ourselves into a stronger version of who we are meant to be.
Fun fact: the “MYRE” in MYRE STUDIO is derived off the word ‘mire’ which is defined as deep, wet, and soft mud!
